For young people and parents with lots of tips on keeping safe online.  Hosts many of the CEOP videos which are great discussion starters. 

Click CEOP is the reporting tool if you or your child comes across anything they are uncomfortable with online.  This could be a video or picture or if someone is trying to make contact.  Has direct links to police who will act accordingly.

UK hotline for reporting criminal online content.  Contact if you are aware of any indecent images of children online.  Have the powers to remove content. 

A useful tool from NSPCC & O2.  Informs you about different apps and the risks involved and what young people think of them. 

Lots of additional info for parents and young people including resources on cyberbullying.

A particular area of online safety we have been made aware of is “Financially motivated sexual extortion”.  A letter has been shared by the ‘National Crime Agency’ for all schools to pass on to parents/carers.  This letter was shared with parents in May 2024
